People who study to be doctors and lawyers take exams and get a diploma to show they’re worthy of being working professionals in their field.
But in the creative fields of film, novel, and TV, there is no bar exam or certificate that shows conclusively to the world that you have tremendous knowledge.
That you have done the hard study required to gain excellence in your chosen profession. That you have accomplished a lot in your particular craft.

Transmedia is the ability to tell a story that works, and can be sold, on all major mediums.
Each track consists of a number of courses needed gain a diploma.
Why are the courses divided into 3 tiers of expertise?
The courses take you step-by-step through 3 tiers of expertise to guarantee your mastery of the craft and the medium.
Tier 1: Foundation
Tier 2: Specialization in Medium and Genres
Tier 3: Mastery
Tier 1: Foundation
Foundation courses like The Anatomy of Story teach you how to write every major story skill, including premise, character, plot, structure, theme, scene, and dialogue.
Tier 2: Specialization in Medium and Genres
Specialize in a particular medium and 2-4 of the genres that determine 99% of popular story today, in every medium.
This way you focus your portfolio and become master of your forms.
Tier 3: Mastery
Representing the highest level of story, Tier 3 courses explain how to express advanced themes through complex plot for a story with worldwide impact.
These are the stories the top 1% of professionals write.
Why are there other tracks besides Screenwriting?
Having a Certificate of Excellence in Screenwriting proves you know the main techniques used by the top 1% of screenwriters.
But that’s not all an agent or producer is looking for.
All mediums rely on the fundamental techniques of great story. But different story mediums present different challenges and require different skills.
A TV showrunner isn’t going to give two hoots if you’ve got a qualification in writing video games.
Similarly, a publisher doesn’t care if you’re the cat’s meow when it comes to screenwriting. After all, a dentist can’t operate with a law degree. A lawyer can’t go to trial with a certificate in dentistry.
